Buffalo Chicken Dip

Super Bowl Sunday! YAY, right! Is it sad that I had to ask my 3rd graders whose playing in it!? That probably tells you a lot about me. We don’t have cable (Netflix + Hulu +Amazon Prime + Disney+ = Mine as well pay for cable) and my husband and I don’t follow sports… AT ALL.

Reasons I like the Super Bowl:
1.) The food
2.) The Half Time Show
3.) The commercials. I can’t say I’ve ever physically sat down and watched an entire football game on TV. I’m here for the socialization and the food!
Whose with me!?

When I think of the Super Bowl I think about finger foods and dips! Buffalo Chicken Dip was introduced to me by my roommate in college. I was instantly hooked. It has to be right up there with my Velveeta Dip. What’s nice about the buffalo dip is if you’d like to skip the chips it’s good on veggies too! But whose kidding I’ll be eating it with chips!

Ingredients:
1 Lg. Can of chicken (you could also use chicken breast (2 large) or a rotisserie chicken)

1 8 oz. Cream Cheese
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese (additional for topping if desired)

Directions:
1. Cut up the cream cheese into small squares.
2. In a crockpot add in the cream cheese, ranch, hot sauce, chicken and ranch.
3. Stir to combine the ingredients
4. Turn the crockpot on low for 2 hours
5. Top with additional cheese if desired

If you’re feeding a big crowd I would suggest doubling the recipe!
