Affordable Finds…

If you’ve been following my Instagram stories you’ll know that John, my husband and I had a day date last weekend. It was so nice to get out of the house and go to a sit down restaurant along with be able to do a little in-store shopping! I was able to go to Target, Old Navy, DSW and Sams (They have great produce.) I’ve shared what I picked up in stories, but wanted to do a full post in case you missed it. I’ve also been trying out some drugstore make up so I’ll be sure to include that in the post. I was super impressed with what I picked up.

These v-neck tees come in so many colors and are only $10!! I loved the polka dots. I’ve had the denim jeans for a while and they’re perfect for work! The sneakers are new! They’re actually girls! They have a women’s pair that’s the exact same except will run you about $20 more! I’m a true 8 and am wearing a 6 in girls. This is a great tip to follow if you’d like to save some money. It might not work with all brands, but I’ve done this with Uggs as well and it’s worked! For reference I’m 5’5’“ and am wearing a small in the shirt and a 12 short in the pants. They do have some stretch so I could’ve gotten away with a 10.

These tunic sweatshirts are Amazing! They’re perefectly paired with leggings. I have a grey and black one that have gotten a lot of use! I’ve had my eye on the leopard one for a while now and I finally saved up enough Super Cash to justify buying it. The Converse sneakers are the shoreline version, which I highly recommend because they have a scrunchy back for added comfort. I’m wearing a small in the tunic and a large in the leggings. I could’ve done a medium in the leggings, but prefer them to be a bit bigger.

I couldn’t pass up this strawberry top. They didn’t have a small so I snagged the medium. These were offered in a variety of color ways as well. I’m wearing an 8 short in the pants. These don’t have as much stretch. They’re supposed to be ankle length and they have a raw hem.

This jacket would make for a great staple! It’s just the thing to grab for when you’re running out the door in the morning for work. The denim goes with everything! It’s also perfect for fall! It does run big so I would size down. I ended up getting an XS and there is still a little extra room. It snaps or zips.

These Target tops are Everything! They’re only $12 and come in several colors! I think they would be soo cute paired with bib overalls or keep it simple and pair them with your favorite jeans or denim shorts. Either way I love the detail on the sleeves. I’m wearing a small. These mules are from last year, but Target has a pair that are so cute and they’ve been very popular in the social world!

I scored these kicks during President’s Day weekend. I got them for $20. They’re currently at their regular price of $50, but I’ll keep you posted when there’s a sale. I originally ordered an 8, but they were way to big so I would highly suggest sizing down! I think these will be perfect again for all year round wear! I love all of the detail!

This last top comes in several colors! It’s comfortable and can be worn in spring and fall! It pairs well with denim, but would also look great with sweats or leggings! I’m wearing a small. I would suggest sticking with your regular size or even sizing down. It really just depends on the look you’re wanting!
