Easy Fudge

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and it wouldn’t be complete without some sweet treats!! This recipe comes from my aunt Sheree. An aunt that’s lived hundreds of miles away for most of my life, but it’s so wonderful how somehow baking can connect you again! This is a treat that’s dished out every year on cookie platters. E.A.S.Y and soo GOOD!!!

1. Add the sugar, milk, butter and vanilla in a pot
2. Bring to boil for 2 min. and stir continuously
3. Add in the marshmallows and chocolate chips

4. Turn off the stove and stir until the marshmallows and chocolate have dissolved

5. Grease a 9 x 13 pan with butter
6 Let cool and then put in refrigerator

7. When the fudge sets cut and enjoy!!

8. This recipe makes a lot so it’s the perfect holiday sweet to add to any treat platter!

Helpful tip for cutting – let the fudge come to room temp. and use a warmed knife (just run some hot water over it)

Ingredients:

4 C. Granulated Sugar
1 C. Milk
1 C. Butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
25 large marshmallows
1 pkg. Milk Chocolate Chips (12 oz.)
1 pkg. Semi Sweet Choc. Chips (12 oz.)
If desired add sea salt and nuts of choice

Directions:

1. Add the sugar, milk, butter and vanilla in a pot
2. Bring to boil for 2 min. and stir continuously
3. Add in the marshmallows and chocolate chips
4. Turn off the stove and stir until the marshmallows and chocolate have dissolved
5. Grease a 9 x 13 pan with butter
6 Let cool and then put in refrigerator
