August Sephora Haul…

As you follow along you’ll find that I love to try out new things!! Whether it be make up, hair products, lotion, hand soap and the list goes on!! I’ve always had a thing for researching and purchasing new products and make up has been no exception. Ironically I don’t wear very much make up! A “Get Ready With Me” video is in the works! Be sure to check back in for that!

This past month I had a couple of products that I’ve been wanting to try for a while! Not only that, but I racked up some beauty points! If you shop at Sephora make sure you create a profile! You can try out a couple free samples with each purchase and you can earn points, which in return can get you some great sample sizes of products! When it comes to beauty points I’m a saver!

This Sephora Haul I tried out a couple new things and got a couple “free” things so it worked out!

Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peel// I started out trying the universal peel and my skin didn’t have any reaction to it! You can check out that post here. So I upped it by trying the Extra Strength! I haven’t had any adverse reactions and I have very sensitive skin! The peel is supposed to help with fine lines and the appearance of uneven tone and texture! They really do work!

I can’t say I’m having the best luck with my skin lately. The culprit is wearing my mask daily so I’m trying not to mix in too many products for fear it will get worse! However, these have helped in all areas. I’d love to use them every night, but have only bought a 5 pack treatment package at a time.

Living Proof Shampoo and Conditioner// The Living Proof products are hair products that pop up a lot on social media. While I love my current hair care products I really wanted to give these a try! Sure enough they were an option to use my beauty points on so I chose them! I’ve had a chance to try out all of the products pictured above. They smell great and my hair was left smelling good, soft and shiny! As always I recommend trying the travel size or mini products of items if you can get your hands on them!

OLEHENRIKSEN Banana C-Rush Brightening Cream// This vitamin C brightens and smooths skin! I have been using the Banana Eye Cream as a primer before my under eye concealer for the past 6 months and love it! So when this Vitamin C option was one that I could sample, I was sure to want to try it out!

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5// Yes, Acid… please don’t let that scare you! Hyaluronic Acid helps hydrate dry skin!! This stuff is cheap coming in under $7! It can be added into your nightly or daily skin care routine or it can be used for prepping before moisturizer. Your skin will thank you!!

Here are some products I use DAILY! The BECCA Brightening Cream has been a repeat buy multiple times! I would say it’s a ‘Holy Grail’ item! It really does help brighten! Throw on your favorite concealer over it and you can mask any tired eyes! Benefit Cosmetics Brow products are ones I always come back to. They hold up to the test and I’ve been using them for years! The Laneige mask has been a new purchase since the pandemic. I LOVE it! I use it at night and anytime my lips feel dry! It feels like silk!

The OLEHENRIKSEN Bananna Bright Eye Cream is running low and something I will be re-purchasing! It helps brighten just like the Vitamin C cream does! The great thing about this one is it’s specific to your eye area! MILK MAKEUP is something I was introduced to 4 years ago. This blush and lip duo is sure to give you that dewy glow. If I wear blush, this is my go-to! It can also be put on the eye lids to add color! Last, but not least don’t forget the sunscreen! I always give myself a spritz of this Supergoop! Defense Refresh SPF 40 Setting Mist before heading out the door! You should always wear SPF….NEVER skip it!!

My current favorite perfume is Daisy by Marc Jacbos! A friend in College always wore this and I loved the smell of it (I have a terrible sense of smell… so she must’ve worn a lot)!
