I think it’s about time we talk organization! I’ve always loved to organize and rearrange! When I was little I would rearrange my room ALL the time and kept a tidy organized room! To this day organization makes me happy and is a stress reliever! I don’t have as much time to keep up with my organizing now because my children quickly make things un-organized and the cycle repeats itself!
I have big plans for our playroom, but we have many other projects that need to come first! So as we begin to re-do our playroom I’ll be sure to share! For now, it’s all about what we’re currently using to organize!
Lets start with art supplies! Our kiddos LOVE to color!! However, the twins are enjoying displaying their art work on the walls! So I’ve quickly learned to have things organized and up high where they can’t get them!
We bought this wardrobe when we needed organization in our daughters room, but didn’t have a closet! It’s now been converted into the dress-up/art storage area! I love using the sides for storage. I found some cheap tubs from Walmart that fit the space and have made it even easier to keep organized! We have everything from Play-Doh to baby doll clothes in the tubs. I put the things the twins can play with on the bottom and the items they need supervision with on the top. This isn’t working quite as well now because they’ve figured out how to scoot over a chair and open the tubs!! Live and learn right!!
I’m so glad I found this organizer!!! It’s actually a photo storage container! It’s clear and comes with 6 inserts for individual storage! I’ve used it for crayons and markers, but the options are endless! Think of all the art supplies that could be stored in these! The other nice thing is you can grab one out and take it to the table, in the car, or even outside! I highly recommend this for all your organizing needs and for teachers!
One thing I like to have the kids use for Play-Doh is a tray. I have two gray trays and I’ll put them on the table for the twins to define their space. Sometimes I use it for painting as well! It helps confine the mess and sometimes whose supplies is whose!!
My kids love this table and so do I! I picked it out for our daughters 2nd birthday and her very thoughtful aunt and uncle bought it for her! It’s definitely gotten a lot of use! I love the vibrant colors because it screams kids! It’s so easy to wipe off! I just use a magic eraser and it gets off lots of wear and tear.
You get your organization from your Grandma Ruebush. 🙂
She always has kept a very tidy house!!
